Management Treats Profits
as the Only Meaningful Priority

Greed is a very strong motivator. People with money usually want more, often with a single-minded focus (that is probably how they became wealthy in the first place).

When profits are treated as sacred, ethics and values usually suffer. If bullying behavior leads to higher profits, it is tolerated or even praised.

When management constantly focuses on the bottom-line, people problems are usually ignored or only given lip service. There is no awareness that a bully is destroying the long-term viability of the company.
