A Bully is a Character Assassin

When a bully can't win with facts and logic,
he will instead attack the character of his opponents.

A bully suggests you are biased
- He suggests you have hidden motives

- He implies your perspective is unreliable

- He discredits your ideas and opinions
A bully suggests you are
deficient psychologically
- He attempts to psychoanalyze you

- He discusses your psychological make-up

- He stereotypes your personality type
A bully misleads others
to destroy your reputation
- He distorts past events to prove your deficiencies

- He is thorough in remembering your past mistakes

- He paints a negative, distorted picture of your patterns of behavior

- He omits crucial information and explanations

- He only tells one side of the story

- He ignores the bias of his sources of information

- He ignores the constraints that he placed upon you

- He ignores the role of others in your mistakes
A bully attacks your character
when you aren't there to defend yourself
- He refuses to let others come to your defense

- He changes the subject rather than hear both sides of the story

- He destroys your reputation, then suggests it's not worth discussing further

- He attacks you during a monologue that is filled with misstatements

- He runs out the meeting time so you can't respond
